Job purpose: The Product Manager is responsible for conversion within the booking journey, which includes payment and ancillaries (travel extras). They will be responsible for prioritising which problems to solve to ensure we build the right product.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

  • Own and build the product vision for the conversion journey, refining it to reflect priorities, balancing benefit with effort, risk and technical complexity.
  • Understanding the key levers that impact the sites conversion and testing those levers with product iterations.
  • Understanding the opportunities, requirements and customer problems and translating them to the development team (remotely located in Kiev).
  • Work collaboratively across the business to align priorities and identify and manage dependencies with other teams.
  • Ensure they are close to the customer experience and engaging the whole team on performance of the product in the market and against targets through detailed KPI dashboards
  • Collaborate with the Head of Product and the rest of the team to support the definition and development of the product roadmap
  • Act as an ambassador for Agile and product best practices.

Deliverables:

  • Build roadmap/backlog/tests for the conversion development team that is aligned to the product strategy by defining, prioritising and developing high quality web/mobile/app features that deliver demonstrable customer and business value.
  • Create user stories that breakdown the epic into end to end functionality
  • Identify new functionality and product propositions that will positively impact the conversion metrics.
  • Define and deliver acceptance criteria and the ‘Definition of Done’ working collaboratively with the rest of the conversion team
  • Engage in all ceremonies with your conversion team.
  • Delivery of agreed KPIs
  • End to end User Acceptance Testing

Skills, know-how and experience:

Must have:

  • Experience within an ecommerce site, ideally Travel.
  • 2-3 years experience as a product manager working with cross functional teams.
